The routing issue affecting connectivity via GNM-IX has been resolved.
We have restored the normal BGP configuration and re-enabled both route import and export via GNM-IX. Traffic is flowing normally again, and we will continue to monitor the connection for stability.
We detected an issue affecting connectivity via GNM-IX starting at approximately 05:20 CEST. Traffic levels dropped significantly, and our monitoring systems detected packet loss towards multiple networks.
As an initial mitigation, we lowered the preference of routes received via GNM-IX. However, this did not fully resolve the issue, as traffic from other networks continued to reach us through GNM-IX.
To stabilize connectivity, we have temporarily disabled the import and export of routes via GNM-IX, effectively removing GNM-IX from our active routing paths.
We will contact GNM-IX to investigate and clarify the underlying issue. Once the issue has been resolved and connectivity is confirmed to be stable, we will restore the normal BGP session configuration.
We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
